Dirk Werner is the author of an excellent functional analysis book, one of the two which I am presently using to prepare for my final exam, Rudin’s almost-classic being the other one. I enjoy Werner’s writing a lot—more than Rudin’s, and to be completely honest with you, he was the first to ever explain the Baire category theorem in a way that I found accessible.
But he also made my day today by having this collection of math photos on his home page. If you have a minute to spare, go there for hilarity.
